Export of Substances on the Export Control List Regulations (SOR/2013-88)

The Regulations merge the Export Control List Notification Regulations and the Export of Substances Under the Rotterdam Convention Regulations. These Regulations prescribe the content and manner of notification requirements under CEPA 1999, as well as requirements relating to compliance with the Stockholm and Rotterdam conventions. The Stockholm Convention requirements may restrict or prohibit exports of substances on the ECL. Where there is no prohibition on export under the Stockholm Convention, there may still be additional conditions under the Rotterdam Convention provisions.
