Application for permit to export protected plants

The following forms are to be used for requesting permits for CITES-listed plants whether they are live, their parts or products. CITES-listed wood and products from those listed species are also included in this set of permit application forms.

Live Plants

Comercial

Export permit for live plants - for export of live plants by nurseries, greenhouse, retailers, wholesalers, associations, etc.

Plant source declaration - The applicant for the export permit must have this declaration completed by each of their plant suppliers, when the plants are produced by the supplier.

Plant hybrid declaration - The applicant for the export permit must have this declaration completed by each of their plant suppliers, when the plants are hybrids produced by the supplier.

Import permit for live plants - for import of live plants by nurseries, greenhouse, retailers, wholesalers, associations, etc.

Personal/Household

Export permit for personal or household plants - for export of live personal plants being sent to an individual or as part of a household move.

Import permit for personal or household plants - for import of live personal plants for an individual or as part of a household move. 

Parts or Products

Export permit for parts or products of plants - for parts or products such as stems, leaves, powdered root, medicine, cosmetics, seeds, etc.

Import permit for parts or products of plants - for parts or products such as stems, leaves, powdered root, medicine, cosmetics, seeds, etc.

Export permit for wood and wood products - for wood or wood products such as logs, plywood, veneer, inlays, guitar parts, furniture, etc.
