ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative
Environment Canada’s Science and Technology Branch leads the Department’s participation in the ecoENERGY Innovation Initiative (ecoEII).
The program’s objective is to support energy technology innovation to produce and use energy in a cleaner and more efficient way. Activities are funded in five strategic priority areas:
- Energy Efficiency
- Clean Electricity and Renewables
- Bioenergy
- Electrification of Transportation
- Unconventional Oil and Gas
