Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Centres (CETACs)
In 1994, Environment Canada created the three Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Centres (CETACs) as not-for-profit organizations that help small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) advance innovative environmental technologies.
The CETACs operate in partnership with provincial governments, industry associations and the private sector. They are regionally structured and include:
- CETAC-WEST serving Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba.
- The Bloom Centre for Sustainability (BLOOM) serving Ontario.
- ENVIRO-ACCESS serving Quebec.
