Science Plan
Environment Canada’s Science Plan represents a significant step in a continuing effort to strengthen the role of environmental science in supporting environmental quality, human health and safety, and economic prosperity. The Plan will build on Environment Canada’s world-class leadership in environmental science by setting the strategic direction for science activities undertaken by the Department over the next decade.
The Plan’s integrated approach to science will provide a foundation for government-wide environmental S&T coordination. As a planning tool, it enhances the Department’s ability to seek and foster collaborative opportunities among external science networks.
