Tetrachloroethylene in the dry cleaning sector: report of the stakeholder consultations

The Tetrachloroethylene (Use in Dry Cleaning and Reporting Requirements) Regulations are based on the key recommendations from the 1996 report of stakeholder consultations on the Strategic Options for the Management of Tetrachloroethylene in the dry-cleaning sector. This report presents the findings of the consultations and sets out recommendations on options for managing the life cycle risks associated with releases of PERC from the dry cleaning sector.
