Pollution Prevention Planning Notices

Notice Requiring the Preparation and Implementation of Pollution Prevention Plans with Respect to Bisphenol A in industrial effluents

On April 14, 2012 the Minister of the Environment published a Notice under Part 4 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999) requiring the preparation and implementation of pollution prevention plans for Bisphenol A in industrial effluents.

This Notice outlines the requirements to prepare and implement pollution prevention plans for Bisphenol A in industrial effluents and includes forms to be completed by persons subject to the Notice.

The Notice was developed following consideration of comments received, the Proposed Notice (published in the Canada Gazette, Part I, on October 16, 2010) as well as the public consultations held in November 2009 and March 2011.
