Comment:
Environment Canada needs to develop guidance for facilities impacted by effluent regulations.
Answer:
An instruction booklet will be posted on the Pollution Prevention Planning section of Environment Canada’s Web site following the publication of the Final Notice in the Canada Gazette, Part I. This booklet will provide guidance on how to fill the Schedules published with this Notice. General instructions on the use of the online reporting tool are also available on this website. In addition, information and guidance on preparing plans is available on the Pollution Prevention section of Environment Canada’s web site, the CEPA Environmental Registry, and the Canadian Pollution Prevention Information Clearinghouse.
