Station Map and Measurements

Environment Canada operates the long term observations network for atmospheric measurements of carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases (CH4, CO, N2O, H2 and SF6) in Canada. The stations are located to provide regional scale information on greenhouse gas emissions from local and regional natural (forests, wetlands) and non-natural (coal, oil and gas, agriculture, waste) sources. There are currently 12 measurement sites in Canada.
