The painting “Break the Ice” Long-tailed duck by artist Claude Thivierge shows two brown and white Long-tailed ducks in winter, one male and one female, resting on deep blue water close to the edge of an icy shore. The rapids that carve through the ice on the edge of the shore produce the interesting shapes illustrated in the painting.

The revenue from the sale of Canadian Wildlife Habitat Conservation products funds the habitat conservation programs of Wildlife Habitat Canada, a national, charitable non-profit conservation organization.
