7.7 Hazardous Waste, Hazardous Recyclable Material, and Non-hazardous Waste

Long description

In figure 1, the weight of hazardous waste and hazardous recyclable materials imported from 1999 to 2001 is shown to be declining (total imports from 1999 to 2001 are 675 000, 560 000, and 500 000 tonnes, respectively). During the same time period, 1999 to 2001, the export of hazardous waste and hazardous recyclable materials has increased slightly (total exports from 1999 to 2001 are 275 000, 323 000 and 313 000 tonnes, respectively).
