6. Hydrochloric Acid

Hydrochloric acid was improperly classified at a minimum concentration of 37%. Hydrochloric acid at 37% at 25°C has a vapour pressure of 105 mm Hg well in excess of the 10 mm criteria. It is recommended to use Hydrochloric acid at 30 % ( vapour pressure 15.1 mm Hg at 25°C)
