Disposal at Sea Permit No. 4543-2-06719, Amended

Notice is hereby given that, pursuant to section 127 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999, Disposal at Sea Permit No. 4543-2-06719 authorizing the loading for disposal and the disposal of waste or other matter at sea is amended as follows.

3. Duration of permit:Permit is valid from June 1, 2013, to May 31, 2014.

3.1. The loading and disposal at sea activities are restricted to the following period(s): from June 1, 2013, to November 24, 2013.

5. Disposal site(s):Meteghan Harbour, Nova Scotia, within a 150 metre radius of 44°11.92' N, 66°10.51' W (NAD83), as described in Figure 6 of the document titled "Environmental Screening: Basin Redredging, Meteghan Harbour, Digby County, Nova Scotia" (May 2012), submitted in support of the permit application.

7. Route to disposal site(s) and method of transport: Most direct navigational route from the loading site to the disposal site via dump scow.

8. Method of disposal: Disposal will be carried out by bottom dumping and in accordance with the dredged material disposal plan required by paragraph 14.1. of the permit.
