48.5°N 51.5°W east to intersection of latitude 48.5°N and an arc of a circle centred on Cape Race and of radius 250 nautical miles (distance from Cape Race to 42.5°N 55°W), then northwest to 52°N 49°W, then southwestward through 51°N 53°W to intersect a line joining the points 48.5°N 51.5°W and 51.5°N 55°W.  From this intersection southeastward to 48.5°N 51.5°W.
