Storm #6 formed on September 20, 1947 off the coast of Cuba. The storm only reached tropical storm status and its winds reached a maximum of 93 km/h (50 knots). Storm #6 entered the CHC Response Zone on September 25th as a tropical depression and brought winds of 28 km/h (15 knots) to the region. The storm dissipated later the same day and did not impact Canada.
