Greenhouse Gas Verification Training

Verification training courses which provide an introduction to conducting greenhouse gas verifications in accordance with ISO 14064: Part 3, Specification with guidance for the validation and verification of greenhouse gas assertions are being offered by the following service providers:

• CSA Standards: CSA Learning Centre - Information on CSA Standards's training courses and resources including comprehensive guides and seminars to assist organizations and individuals in further understanding standards and their applications.
• Future Perfect - Information on the training provided by Future Perfect to support program requirements for the Climate Action Registry, the Climate Registry, and the California Air Resources Board in relation to the California Mandatory Greenhouse Gas Reporting System.
• Greenhouse Gas Management Institute (GHGMI) - Information on the GHGMI's training courses for both individuals and organizations working on all aspects of climate change. The GHGMI’s training courses are authored by leading experts in their fields and consist of interactive e-learning system and specialized onsite workshops.

Please note that Environment Canada's Greenhouse Gas Verification Training course is no longer offered. Successful completion of the course does not signify certification or accreditation as a greenhouse gas verifier in Canada.
