| Purpose: | To enable the recipient to enhance water quality and aquatic habitat by offering incentives to private rural landowners for the implementation of BMPs (Clean Water Program), and evaluate BMP efforts with monitoring in target subwatersheds. Targeted and proven communication and outreach will be delivered through displays, SAR posters and the reptile education program. Species at risk turtle and snake habitat will be created and maintained and their nesting/birthing sites protected from human disturbance and depredation. |
