| Purpose: | Five properties chosen for their demonstration value along Beales Creek in Athens will be restored. Project includes stream bank and buffer strip plantings, installation of 1500 metres of livestock fencing, installation of a solar watering system and 100 nesting boxes. The project will also include a series of workshops and presentations for the community and will be featured at the Leeds County Stewardship Council environmental stewardship demonstration at the International Plowing Match held in Leeds County in September 2007. |
