Purpose:	To improve habitat by implementing a Landowner Grant Program to encourage the adoption of BMPs on farms to reduce sedimentation and nutrient enrichment. Specific habitat improvement activities will also take place for the eastern spiny softshell turtle to encourage the expansion of the nesting areas. To support the above initiatives and build support and understanding for species at risk research and recovery, the public will also be educated through a landowner contact program, interpretive signage, website, and annual newsletter.
