- Developing standardized toxicity test methods for Canadian boreal forested regions using ecologically-relevant terrestrial organisms
- Toxic assessments of weathered petroleum hydrocarbon and brine-impacted soils to terrestrial organisms
- Evaluating the bioaccumulation of metals and organic substances in earthworms, and petroleum hydrocarbons in soil mites
PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES / INTERESTS
Terrestrial (plants and soil invertebrates) toxicology, including test method development
Research and test validation contributions to the publication of Environment Canada's Biological Test Method Series for terrestrial toxicity testing
Numerous research presentations at over 25 national and international conferences and workshops
