The submission questioned why eight vanadium-based substances that are remaining priorities are not included in the rapid screening assessment | Two of the substances listed in the submission were subject to rapid screening and are found in the document; new information was received on both substances during Phase 1 of the Domestic Substances List (DSL) Inventory Update. Both substances no longer meet the scope of this rapid screening and will require further assessment. Six additional vanadium-based substances have not been included in this rapid screening as reported uses of these substances exceeded the volume trigger, which placed them outside of the scope of the assessment. |
