It has been a busy summer for the Nature Conservancy of Canada. Over the course of June and July, the organization secured properties across Canada for conservation. These acquisitions of ecologically-significant land were made possible through the Government of Canada’s $225 million Natural Areas Conservation Program (NACP).
Since its inception in 2007, the NACP has conserved more than 336 properties, protecting more than 103,660 hectares of habitat for more than 74 species at risk.
Take a virtual tour of these incredible properties and learn more about the beautiful landscapes that our country boasts from coast to coast.
