Ken Baldwin joined the staff of the Canadian Forest Service in 1990 as a plant community ecologist. He has worked on research and technical development projects involving forest ecosystem classification, predictive ecosystem mapping, and forest succession. He is currently the coordinator of the Canadian Forest Ecosystem Classification project, developing a standardized classification of Canadian forest types. Ken received his Hons BSc Biology, from McMaster University (1975) and a MSc, Plant Sciences from University of Western Ontario (1982). Other activities include research studies in forest community succession in the boreal and northern hardwood forests of Ontario.
