Atmospheric Water
Atmospheric water is water present in the atmosphere either as a solid (snow, hail), liquid (rain) or gas (fog, mist).
There is always water in the atmosphere. Clouds are, of course, the most visible manifestation of atmospheric water, but even clear air contains water -- water in particles that are too small to be seen.
The interdependency of surface water, groundwater, and atmospheric water is of great importance in the hydrologic cycle.
