Environment Canada’s Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area is an ideal destination, providing a 6-km network of groomed trails for nature lovers and bird watchers at all levels of experience.

Every weekend from January 8 to March 13, and during the spring break from March 7 to 11, take some time off for a walk in a protected natural area. You will be amazed by the serenity and beauty of the place, where you can observe more than thirty species of birds that regularly visit the many feeding stations along the trails in the plain and the forest. Don’t forget your binoculars: Woodpeckers, Nuthatches, Blue Jays and Pine Grosbeaks are just some of the birds you may spot.

You will be welcomed by a team of volunteer ornithologists who are passionate about conserving migratory birds. Visiting hours are from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Admission is $4.00 per person. Children 12 and under, accompanied by a parent, are admitted free.
