Harper Government to ban microbeads in personal care products

The Honourable Dr. K. Kellie Leitch, Canada's Minister of Labour and Minister of Status of Women, on behalf of the Honourable Leona Aglukkaq, Canada’s Minister of the Environment, Minister of the Canadian Northern Economic Development Agency and Minister for the Arctic Council, announced that the Government of Canada is developing regulations to prohibit plastic microbeads in personal care products on July 30, 2015, in Toronto.
