VOC Federal Agenda
Publication of the proposed renewal of the Federal Agenda for the Reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from Consumer and Commercial Products
Environment Canada has published a discussion paper on the proposed renewal of the Federal Agenda for the Reduction of Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) from Consumer and Commercial Products. The discussion paper outlines a number of initiatives for the Government of Canada to take in order to reduce VOC emissions from consumer and commercial products and covers the 2010 to 2020 period.
Stakeholders are invited to forward their comments on the proposed renewal of the VOC Federal Agenda during a 30-day public consultation period which ends July 11, 2010. All received comments will be reviewed and considered by Environment Canada during the finalization of the renewal of the VOC Federal Agenda. The final renewal of the VOC Federal Agenda will be published thereafter as a Notice of Intent in the Canada Gazette, Part I.

Consultation Materials
In March 2004, the Minister of the Environment and the Minister of Health published a Notice of Intent in the Canada Gazette Part I which presented Canada's Federal Agenda for Reduction of Emissions of Volatile Organic Compounds from Consumer and Commercial Products. The VOC Federal Agenda outlines a number of initiatives for the Government of Canada to take in order to reduce VOC emissions from consumer and commercial products and covers the 2004 to 2010 period.
