Biosphere, Environment Museum

The museum is still open to the general public, and will remain so. The Biosphere is in full transformation. We are currently beginning the renovation of the exhibition galleries, which will focus on meteorology, climate, water and air quality. Please refer to our Web site for updates.

Please note that the Biosphere will be closed during the holiday season from Monday, December 22, 2014 to Friday, January 16, 2015.

Thank you for your understanding.

Architectural masterpiece and symbol of Expo 67, the Biosphere is a unique and spectacular structure, located at Parc Jean-Drapeau in Montréal.

Eco-Wrapping Workshop

While the holidays are filled with magic, they are, unfortunately, also filled with overconsumption and waste. As responsible consumers, and eco-citizens, there are several alternatives to help us celebrate "greener" holidays.

Starting on November 29th, up until December 21st, the Biosphere is offering an Eco-Wrapping Workshop every Saturday and Sunday. French presentations at 1 pm and English presentations at 2 pm.

Join us in celebrating a "Green" Holiday season!
