Air Quality Data

This section provides access to Environment Canada's air-quality databases, including data on air pollutants and other chemicals in the atmosphere, such as ozone and UV.   The data here is compiled from  Environment Canada's monitoring networks, including our long-term cross-country networks, as well as data from short-term intensive local studies.

Data that is part of a global database are provided in the following:

• World Ozone and Ultraviolet Radiation Data Centre (WOUDC)
  Ozone and UV data from international sources, including Environment Canada's national networks
  
• Global pesticides release database (Gloperd)
  Pesticide data from international sources, including Environment Canada's national network

Data that is part of national databases are:

• National Air Pollution Surveillance Data (NAPS Data)
  Data from a network managed by Environment Canada, in cooperation with the provinces and territories
  
• National Atmospheric Chemistry Database (NATChem Database)
  Data from Environment Canada's air-quality networks
