Maintaining Air Quality in a Transboundary Air Basin: Georgia Basin-Puget Sound

cover of publicationThis report was prepared by Environment Canada (EC) and the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) with input from Health Canada. EPA and Environment Canada are the lead agencies for the U.S. - Canada Border Air Quality Strategy pilot project, Maintaining Air Quality in a Transboundary Air Basin: Georgia Basin-Puget Sound, announced by Environment Canada and the U.S. EPA in Washington D.C., in June 2003. A major focus of this pilot project has been the development of the Georgia Basin-Puget Sound International Airshed Strategy. The purpose of this report is to summarize actions and initiatives undertaken by the partners involved in this pilot.
