Integrated Arctic/ Sub-Arctic Terrestrial Vegetation Monitoring Framework Project Summary

This document summarizes the outcomes of a project to develop an integrated approach to tracking Arctic and sub-Arctic terrestrial vegetation and identify methods which could be used to monitor the indicators in a harmonized way. The project consisted of several components:
- Development of an integrated Arctic and sub-Arctic vegetation monitoring framework.
- Development of an inventory and map showing the locations and nature of vegetation monitoring activities in the Canadian Arctic and Arctic/sub-Arctic interface.
- Development of recommendations to improve stewardship, coordination of and access to Arctic and sub-Arctic vegetation monitoring data.
