International River Improvements Act: Annual Report for 2008
The International River Improvements Act controls construction of dams, canals or other works which would effect the flow or level of a river from the United States to Canada. This annual report describes the department’s operations under the Act for 2008 during which three short-term licences expired and were renewed. No new applications or notifications of exception were received during the reporting period.
