Proceedings of the International Conference Towards Sustainable Transportation EPSM/389/B
Governments have become increasingly concerned with setting long-term transportation goals that are consistent with sustainable development objectives. To address this growing concern, Canada hosted an OECD-sponsored conference, "Towards Sustainable Transportation," in March 1996 in Vancouver. More than 400 experts from around the world participated. This document contains the conference proceedings, including the program, biography of speakers, abstracts of presentations, papers, Principles of Sustainable Transportation, and a list of participants.
