Lake Superior Lakewide Management Plan Annual Report 2010

cover of publicationThis annual report highlights progress and challenges for the Lake Superior Lakewide Management Plan over the past year, and outlines planned activities including outreach, monitoring, protection and restoration actions. It includes an overview, accomplishments, challenges, next steps, and contacts. The Lake Superior Lakewide Management Plan is a binational action plan for cooperatively restoring and protecting the ecosystem of Lake Superior. The Lake Superior Lakewide Management Plan is coordinated by a committee with membership from both Canada and the United States, including Environment Canada and other federal, provincial, and state governments and First Nations/tribal organizations. The Lake Superior Binational Program includes the LaMP and the Zero Discharge Demonstration Program that addresses chemical pollution in the Lake Superior basin.
